A Visit to the Flourishing Everflora Flower Farm in Kenya
After 2 weeks of very low prices, the market started improving gradually as from the previous week. Presently market prices are better. We are still getting less flowers coming from Kenya due to the ongoing cloudy and rainy weather. There has also been a drop in production of red roses because most of the growers are preparing flush for the Christmas and Valentine season.
Consistent downpour in some rose growing regions in Kenya have caused an increase in Botrytis issues. We must do the best we can to control the problem.
The weather in Europe has improved after the cold period. Temperatures went up and for the next 10 days we should expect no rain.
It is our recommendation to send all but only A-1 quality and perfect opening stage.
